Fairfax County 4-H Junior Camp - Sleepaway camp at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal, VA. The camp is for all kids age 9-13. Campers choose from classes such as archery, horsemanship, robotics, fishing, and canoeing. There is free swim and recreation time each day, as well as evening programs and a campfire. FCPS Academic Summer Programs - Registration begins Monday, May 10 for the following FCPS academic summer programs: Online campus (for acceleration and credit recovery), English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) online course, Term Graduate, and the Standards of Learning (SOL) tests. FCPS Adult and Community Education (ACE) - ACE offers noncredit enrichment programs, including SAT and admissions test prep, study skills, math strengthening skills, languages, and driver education, visit www.fcps.edu/DIS/OACE/KidsandTeens.htm for more information.
Foreign Language Experience (FLEX) Summer Camp - FLEX offers one- or two-week world language camps for three hours daily at various elementary schools at beginning and immersion levels. Camp groups will be arranged by grade levels: kindergarten through grade one, and grades two through five. Camp start dates are staggered from July 19 through August 9, Monday-Friday. Franklin Band & Orchestra Camp - Rising 4th grade (age 9) through High School. Program includes full band & orchestra classes for all levels & experience, including special classes for students with no previous band & strings experience, sectionals with instrumental specialists, and concert on the last day. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Orchestra & 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Band, June 28 through July 23, at Herndon M.S. (Sponsored by Franklin MS Band Boosters). Herndon HS Braves Baseball Camp - Boys & Girls ages 7-14 of all skill levels. Develop and improve baseball skills in a fun and safe environment designed to instill a love of the game. Sponsored by the Hermdon HS Sports Boosters. Multiple one-week sessions available from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Herndon HS baseball field. Institute for the Arts - Current 6th - 11th grade students. Join hundreds of talented students! Attend Institute for the Arts and create an artful summer. Now in its 23rd year, IFTA provides an opportunity for students to experience a variety of fine arts offerings. Select four 70-minute courses each day and create a summer to remember. Kids Campus (Goes to Africa) - K-6 students explore the cultures, animals, cooking, dance and geographies of Africa. One week and three week sessions offered at several FCPS elementary and middle schools. Details are available at https://www.fcps.edu/DIS/OACE/ElementaryEnrichment.htm
Pro-Active Summer Camp - This camp promotes character education through sports. The camp is offered by Summer Solutions, inc., a non-profit organization providing education services to students in Northern Virginia. Details are available at https://www.proactivesummer.com/index_pro.php
Rec Pac - Program dates July 6th through August 12th. A structured summer recreation program for elementary children run by Fairfax County Parks & Recreation. Each week is centered around a theme. Weekly activities include arts & crafts, outdoor games, music, sports, and special events. Register for one week or all 6. Runs from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at schools thoughout the county. South Lakes Seahawks Sports Camps - The SLHS Boosters offer a variety of summer sports camps for youth, including Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Football, and Volleyball. Dates and times vary by camp. Details and registration available at https://www.seahawkboosters.com/

Vienna Summer Band Camp - 31st Annual Summer Band Camp for students from 4th to 9th grade. Beginning program for students with no previous band experience; Regular program for students with at least one year of band experience. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., June 28 through July 22 (no camp on July 5), at McLean H.S. Free final evening concert on July 22, 7:30 p.m. at McLean H.S.
